The license in plain words
You can
- Use it for anything, including paid work: print, websites, apps, logos, video and games.
- Embed it in documents, websites and apps.
- Share it or bundle it with software, even software you sell.
- Change it and share your changed version.
You can’t
- Sell the font files on their own (bundled with other software is fine).
- Give a changed version the original’s “Reserved Font Name”, if the license lists one.
When you share the files
- Keep the license and copyright notice with the font files when you share them.
- Share changed versions under the same license.
A friendly summary of the SIL Open Font License 1.1, not legal advice. What counts is the license that comes with the font: OFL.txt.
